Quiet Mornings

on the porch.
Waiting for my friend the bumble bee to pass by so we can say hi,
while protecting marigolds and pinks 
from marauding chipmunks.

    Man, those stinkin' chipmunks... ruining the marigolds, how dare they!

    You should've seen how many there were at the campground we stayed at for this past week...! Everywhere, all over, were squirrels and chipmunks. They were so cute! ;)
