The Fifth Season

is the most marvelous season of all.
It is 'Mud Season'
That sweet, mushy time
between Winter and Spring.

    Its mud season here too, but ours is due to rain. Although my daffodils have blossomed, they are surrounded by muddy ground as well.
    Try not to get the house too dirty with paw prints as I did with my shoes :)

    I guess it's all a matter of perspective! I love the mud because it represent spring... but oh, the mess! ;)

    I love mud season too, but I think it's because I have always loved redirecting the puddles...I suppose I was meant to be a hydrologist : )
